Executive Director Biographical InformationSince February 1999 I have served as the Executive Director of DRA. I moved to Jefferson County in 1981 and worked for the Jefferson County Developmental Disability Board from 1981-1997. From 1997-1999, I worked for a rehabilitation employment services provider in St. Louis. I was one of the original founders of DRA and served on the board prior to becoming the Executive Director. I have two teenaged children and reside in Festus.

Assistant Director-Nancy Pope Nancy Pope’s Bio I have lived in Jefferson County all my life. I worked in a private school from 1984-1993. The last three years at that school I taught a multi-grade classroom of 4th-6th graders. I worked various positions for Jefferson County Developmental Resource Board from 1993-1999. I came to DRA in August of 1999. I am an active member of Victory Church and Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity. I am married, have two daughters and reside in Festus.

I have worked in the social service field for 16 years. I have been with Disability Resource Association since 1999. I oversee all programming and resources. I also work on legislative advocacy. I am married and have two wonderful boys.

From 1998 - 2002 I went to college at Central Methodist University where I obtained my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. Prior to working at DRA, I was employed by Farmington R-7 School District as a substitute teacher for the K-12 grades. I have been with Disability Resource Association since 2002. I am the Consumer Directed Service Program Coordinator and the In Home Service Program Certified Manager.
